but i really need to try it out for myself, and my beta weekend lasted only an hour :@ if anyone has a key they'd kindly give me to help me make up my mind, i would be very thankful! ^^

Which brings up the question, why don't anet give out these things on request like many other games do :\

I think if you buy the retail edition of nightfall you get a 'buddy key' that lets you invite someone else for a trial of 8 hours or something, which i'd add to my account to give me access to elona for 8 hours or so of game play.

I find it's better to just wait. I tried the preview event but only a very small bit of the first map cause I didn't want to ruin the fun of opening the game and going through something new for the first time.

That was my nice way of sayin sry I gave my key out already lol.
